I am out of town for winter visiting and glad convenient massage envy. There were significant differences with Dan and my therapist at home . Dan is more continuous up and down strokes. Pressure medium was perfect. He is more abrupt (only way i can describe) than my therapist who is gentler at moving covering, much more neck and shoulder stretching than Dan, who really didnt do any. Dan did more glutes yea. Just depends on your preferences but the medium pressure and working out tension with variety of techniques i like my regular therapist better. Also I paid for hand and foot scrub. Foot was scrubbed mainly where a massage would be (middle foot tendon) i would think ball and heel would have been more useful. Then massage the tendon. Also fingers and toes were not done which at home i enjoy. Relieves significant tension for me. Dan back was basically two hands top down spine small circle bottom and back up back over and over. Again my therapist works different areas, shoulder blades etc. I can feel the knots he moves and dissolves.

I have been getting regular and frequent massages for years. While on vacation, I decided I wasn't going to interrupt the cycle. My first experience with Dayanis at Massage Envy, on Santa Barbara in Cape Coral, was a pleasant surprise. Knowledgeable in her craft, she asked and paid attention to my pain areas and got right to work. She moved deftly, feeling out overworked or stressed muscles. In the one hour massage, I fell asleep several times (which is a very good sign for me that I felt confident in what she was doing.) I booked another appointment upon leaving based solely on the fact that my muscles felt more relaxed and my gross body movements were more flexible. I'm looking forward to my next massage from Dayanis. Since I am in town for two months, I took advantage of their discount plan which makes for very reasonable pricing.
